Thanksgiving

As you can see, we are immensely enjoying our new turkey hats.  Fun, yet thoughtful, each feather in the hat names something, or someone that we're thankful for in our lives.  I think we all relished the long weekend, for everyone came back well rested and ready to learn:)

We've been entertained lately by many guest readers.  Rachel (above) reads to us while we wait for the bus....

Mr. B makes our Tuesdays very special. This time he was entertaining us with his ukulele, and we surprised him with our rendition of "On Top of Spaghetti" (named after the book he previously read to us with the same title).  A little singing, mixed with a little reading, it's all good:)

Winter is upon us, which means boots, mittens, hats, snowpants and warm coats. Please remember to mark, with permanent marker, your child's initials or name inside the garment to minimize confusion,  especially snowpants, and overalls.  Frequently there are many pairs, each being exactly the same style and color, which can be a little frustrating for children trying to sort out what belongs to whom. Remember to check lost & found if an article of clothing is missing, for this is where it will most likely end up.

11/16 That is the number of kiddos that can now tie their shoes!!!

Just 5 more to go, and it's root beer floats for everyone!!!!
