Violinist In Our Midst!
Can you believe it? A first grade violinist!!! Our new friend in first grade this year entertained us with several of his favorite songs. All the students were mesmerized while they listened attentively to his talent. He kindly shared with us how he practices to become better, and how he takes care of his violin. This was a truly exciting moment for all of us!

Today I sent home a letter with your child's account user name as well as personal password to enable them, with your permission of course, to play fun and engaging math games, that will help them to become more skillful mathematicians! Many of our classes at Academy School have already signed up and are enjoying the benefits of playing these games.

WE Have Big Buddies!
As you can see, we are thoroughly enjoying our new Big Buddies. This year, these very cool, kind, caring, intelligent, and incredibly friendly sixth graders will help us become better readers, and better listeners, while having fun all year long together.
