Frolicking First Graders

"This is best day of my whole life...ever!"

That is a quote from one of our first-graders on Thursday as we celebrated Halloween together. Dressed as their favorite character, they paraded around Melrose Place, then gathered back at school for another parade around the school looking at all the fabulously carved pumpkins. Every class got involved, and the creativity of everyone's displays were absolutely amazing. When we returned back to the classroom, we danced to the Monster Mash, Warewolves of London, and Rock Monster;  watching first graders dance together is a heart warming experience to say the least. Lastly,  we feasted on cold cider and  warm popcorn while we watched the traditional "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"
